Tokens are the units used by AI models to process text. Both your questions and the AI's responses consume tokens. A typical question-and-answer exchange uses roughly 500-2,000 tokens depending on complexity. Schema exploration and research mode use additional tokens.
On all plans, if you exceed your monthly token allowance, you can continue using Datologist at a pay-as-you-go rate. You'll only be charged for the additional tokens you use beyond your plan limit. There are no surprise charges — you'll see a clear usage dashboard.
BYOK lets you use your own API keys for the underlying AI models. This means your queries go directly through your own account with the AI provider, giving you more control over costs and data handling. Available on Pro and Supreme plans. BYOK also unlocks premium models like Claude Opus 4.1, GPT-5 Pro, o1 Pro, and GPT-5.4 Pro that aren't included in plan tokens.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Yes. When you sign up for the Basic plan, you get a 7-day trial period managed by Stripe. Your card is collected at signup but not charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial and you will not be charged.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll get immediate access to the new plan's features. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
